How you can help
Patan CBR receives little financial help from the Nepali government and relies on grants and donations.
Examples of what your contribution will pay for include:
| Train one new rehabilitation facilitator (field worker) | $1,400 (Rs 100,000) |
| Employ a facilitator for a year, including operating costs | $1,000 (Rs 78,000) |
| Support one child in our day centre for a year | $500 (Rs 36,000) |
| Epilepsy drugs for a year for one child | $170 (Rs 12,000) |
| A hearing aid for a hearing-impaired child | from $140 (Rs 10,000) |
| Books, uniform etc to enable a child to attend school | $55 (Rs 4,000) |
| A pair of orthopaedic support shoes | $40 (Rs 3,000) |
| A pair of crutches | $30 (Rs 2,000) |
| A white cane for a sight-impaired child | from $10 (Rs 700) |

Current needs
We currently need funds for the following:
| The smaller children at our day centre have an unfortunate habit of peeing on the floor! We need to replace the carpet with soft tiles that can be easily washed and that provide a better activity surface. | $350 (Rs 25,000) |
| We need some exercise equipment - mini-trampoline, treadmill etc - for the children in the day centre, to assist their physical development. | from $100 (Rs 7,000) |
